Point-up beneath an open ring of crystal pavé, a white rice-shaped freshwater pearl of 8 to 9 mm gives the Sophia pendant its slim, tapered drop. The ring is sterling silver and narrower than the pearl, and a small crystal-set bar link above it carries the fine chain, so the whole piece reads as a short vertical line.
