Description
Rice-shaped freshwater pearls, each separated by a small polished metal bead, make up the whole of the Maddalena bracelet. The pattern never changes, which is its point: a continuous, even rhythm of white and bright that reads the same from every side.
The pearls are slightly elongated and gently lustrous; the metal beads are tiny, adding punctuation rather than weight. A hook clasp set between two polished ball beads closes the bracelet, so the fastening becomes part of the design.
