A curved feather of crystal pavé lies across the chain in the Lydia necklace, with a round white freshwater pearl of 7 to 8 mm set at its tip. The feather is sterling silver and is fixed to the chain at both ends, so it hangs as a horizontal station and lies flat against the chest rather than swinging.
