Description
Crowned by a wide cap of crystal pavé that covers its upper end, the white rice-shaped freshwater pearl of 8 to 9 mm in the Susannah pendant hangs from an open ring, also pavé-set, in sterling silver. The chain runs through a small link at the top of the ring, and the whole pendant hangs straight.
It is small to medium in size and sits at the collarbone to upper sternum, which suits V and scoop necklines and lets the tapered pearl point neatly down the opening of a blouse. The cap adds a band of sparkle without hiding the pearl's shape.
With more crystal than the other rice pearl pendants in the collection, Susannah leans toward evening. It is a good gift for a bridesmaid, a graduation dinner or a winter birthday when the light is low and the sparkle earns its keep.

Pearls are organic gems: put them on last and take them off first. Keep away from perfume, hairspray, lotion and water. After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store in the pouch or box, separate from other jewelry.
