Description
Saskia is a butterfly that climbs the ear. Its body is a curve of bezel-set clear crystals topped with two beaded antennae, and its wings are three baroque freshwater pearls of 13-14mm, two set to one side and one hanging below, each with the irregular, iridescent surface only a baroque pearl has.
The pair is made as mirror images so the antennae point up on both ears and the wings open outward. Worn with hair up or tucked back, the whole insect shows; it is not a piece to hide. The post closure holds the climber in line with the lobe.
