Description

Luise's X is made of two different bars: one pavé-set with clear crystals, the other plain and polished, crossed at the top of the stud. Beneath them sits a round white freshwater pearl of 10-11mm, slightly forward, so the pearl leads and the X follows.

The mix of bright and plain keeps the sparkle measured, and the large pearl gives the stud its weight. It sits flat on the lobe, secured with a 925 sterling silver post and a friction back, the kind with a soft silicone cover that grips without pinching.

Hair up shows the X at the top of the lobe; hair down shows the pearl. Luise works with a strand of similar-sized pearls or alone with a high neck. A sure gift for someone who likes a large pearl with a little detail.
