Description
A fan of marquise and round crystals spreads across the top of a round white freshwater pearl of 10 to 11 mm in the Astrid pendant, narrower than the pearl and sitting on it like a small tiara. A single round crystal at the top link joins the cluster to the fine sterling silver chain.
The pendant hangs straight, is medium in size, and sits at the upper sternum, above crew and boat necklines. The cluster gives a concentrated flash of light at the top of the pearl rather than a ring around it, so the pearl still reads as the main event.
It is a natural choice for a bride or a bridesmaid, and a good gift for a twenty-first birthday or a graduation ball. On an ordinary day it dresses up a plain black top without looking overdressed.
